You may have spent years and years awaiting "something". A change, a promotion, a milestone, a shift. Yet you look around and see others excelling, and walking in their full potential. Many stop and think...
When is it my turn? Why don't I have.... Why do things not look like I planned? When will my promises from God come true? How....much.....longer? All reasonable thoughts for the logical mind. In our world, we are taught simple cause and effect. If we do this, then we get that. If we work hard, then we get promoted. If we treat people well, then they won't betray us. And then reality sets in, our expectations can fail us. Cause does not necessarily equal the intended and expected effect. So, what can we depend on in this unpredictable world? Allow me to introduce you to the promise keeper.
The ONE and only One who cannot lie, will not fail, and who never breaks His word. God. The Beginning and The End. Love Himself. The Creator of creation. The truth speaking, life giving, everlasting, unstoppable, unexplainable, uncontainable, never ending One!
And yet, He is ALL this and more but He still cares about...YOU! Not because He needs to, because He loves too! He cares about His promises to you, not because it's the right thing to do, but because He MUST! He's established from the beginning of time that He can not and will not lie to you! If He says it, IT IS SO! "God is not a man, so he does not lie. He is not human, so he does not change his mind. Has he ever spoken and failed to act? Has he ever promised and not carried it through?" Numbers 23:19 Perhaps, you don't have a specific promise that the Lord has spoken to you in a gentle whisper, dream, or prophetically. However, there is great news! There are over 3000 promises in the Bible just for you! And here's a secret, if you've had a burning passion your entire life...this is a great clue God has placed this in your heart! And if He has, the answer is a resounding yes! My friends, I invite you to meet the promise keeper!
Although you may not see your dream happening at the moment, He is faithful.
A delayed promise is not a denied one!
What promise are you awaiting?
Your healing?
Your promotion?
Your family?
Financial security?
Keep believing and keep praying, He wants you to have every good thing. The promise keeper will NEVER fail. "And so I tell you, keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you." Luke 11:9
I pray NO MORE DELAY for your promise in Jesus name!
