The story of Lazarus. Dead for days.
But Jesus.
Wrapped in the stinch of death.
But Jesus.
Unrecoverable, in need of more than a miracle.
But Jesus.
In need of a revival from the inside out .
But JESUS! John 11:43-44-When he had said this, Jesus called in a loud voice, “Lazarus, come out!” The dead man came out, his hands and feet wrapped with strips of linen, and a cloth around his face. Jesus said to them, “Take off the grave clothes and let him go.” You may been down. You may be experiencing defeat on every side. Feeling even abandoned by God. But God has sent me to tell you TODAY is a new day. This situation will not be the death of you mentally, physically, or spiritually. Jesus says it's time to come out! He says it's time to take off the grave clothes! He is moved by compassion for your situation and has no plan for you to stay in the grave! Notice Jesus tells Lazarus to take off the grave clothes! Are you willing to put in the work to unwrap from defeat, discouragement, comparison, jealousy! God says it's time to come out!
It will take prayer, community, and an intimate relationship to come out of your situation. It will take full reliance on Christ and vulnerability with Him. Bring your hurts to Him. He is the true comforter in every situation.
Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Matthew 11:28 Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.John 14:27
These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.John 14:1 Cast your cares on the LORD and he will sustain you; he will never let the righteous be shaken. Psalm 55:2
Know this! If God can release Lazarus from death itself, He can deliver you! There's no sickness, no heartache, no betrayal that's to tough for Him to handle. Will you allow him give you new life! Declare that today's battle will not be the death of you! Cast your hurts onto Jesus and follow His direction! Only He can turn it around and restore you!
Arise, in Jesus name! It's a new day!
